Established in 1999 by The Founders Mrs. Soma Bhoumik & Mr. Kamanashish Bhoumik, Panchajanya is a renowned institution dedicated to nurturing the arts of Bharat Natyam, Drawing, Vocal Music, and Yoga. With a rich legacy spanning over two decades, we take pride in offering holistic education that combines traditional teachings with contemporary methodologies.

Our Founders
Mrs. SOMA BHAUMIK (FOUNDER- PANCHAJANYA)
Despite being a BE Electrical from Tripura Engineering College now NIT Agartala, the Founder has turned her love and passion for the Bharatnatyam dance form into her profession. She has achieved the title of Sangeet Prabor in this dance form and is the Author of two books on Bharatanatyam. She acts as the jury member for several prestigious competitions.
Being proficient in this classical field of dance, she has also directed, arranged and choreographed several theme- based performances like:
1. How man conquered this blue planet
2. Nikoshito Hem (dance drama based on classification of Devdasi)
3. Dodo (Dance drama birds should be cage free)
4. Swapne (Dance drama on child labour) etc. She has always been working on nurturing and training young talents in different forms, from traditional to trendy.
Mr. KAMANASISH BHAUMIK (FOUNDER- PANCHAJANYA)
The founder is a BE in Mechanical from the Tripura Engineering College or NIT Agartala and is currently a GM in ASP, SAIL. He has achieved the title of "Sangeet Bisharod" for his specialization in Nazrul Geeti. He participated as an artist in Agartala All India Radio in his childhood. Moreover, in 2004, he represented ASP on SAIL Foundation Day in Delhi with his music. He also acts as a member of the jury for several prestigious competitions.
